Only a few days ago, KSHMR released the full track of “Touch”, which features a collaboration with Felix Snow and vocals from Madi. Those of you who have yet to listen to the Californian producer, you should start to. Also known as Niles Hollowell-Dhar, he started his career with his friend David “Campa” Singer-Vine, the duo was formally known as The Cataracs. The former duo focused their producing on hip-hop and indie pop, which proved successful. KSHMR was created as Niles’ solo alias and has become the EDM sensation known today. His tracks have been topping Beatport charts and setting his name beside other well known producers. In 2015, KSHMR collaborated with Tiesto to create “Secrets” which held high positions on the charts. If you have yet to tune into KSHMR’s new track “Touch”, tune in:

Getting ready for a fun-filled New Year’s Eve can be stressful; even more so if you’re dubbed the official host of the party. Getting your finger foods and hors d’oeuvres chosen can be easy. Alcohol, another easy choice, but what about your music?
Music is the MOST important part of a party; it keeps people moving and livens up the place. The right music selection creates the right ambiance which will determine the mood of your guests. Play some Céline Dion at your NYE party if you want people to cry softly and hold each other’s hands. Play some A-Trak, DJ Snake, or Deorro, and your guests are sure to have happy spirits and be lively and energetic–none of that sappy-crap–even though we should all appreciate Céline Dion.
So, for the up and coming New Year’s Eve, I have my personal top 10 EDM tracks you should consider using at your party. A small selection of Deep House, House, Electro, and Progressive for all hours of the night. Kygo is the perfect closer, And Major Lazer will start your party with a track everyone knows, even those poor souls who are out of touch with EDM. A-Trak’s “Push” (remixed by the Chainsmokers) will get the energy going through the night, even better when the drinks are flowing. Of course my favorite, “Perdóname” by Deorro, is a sure way to move and groove! I hope you enjoy these selections as much as I do!
Have a great New Year’s Eve, fam!
John Borger, aka Borgeous, is one of the newest and fastest rising stars in the world of EDM. Earlier this month he dropped two brand new tracks and two brand new videos. This dual release is available for a free download on Spinnin’ Records‘ Soundcloud page.
“I grew up in the TRL era, so I believe music videos play a really big part in getting a song to resonate with people.”
For the last two years, BORGEOUS (John Borger) has had an astronomical rise to fame. The LA and Las Vegas-based platinum recording artist and DJ/produceris quickly making waves in the scene and has already accomplished three Billboard Dance Radio Top 10’s, three Beatport #1’s and a #1 on the iTunes Dancechart in 15 different countries. His keen ear and innate talent to produce a provocative, textured sound have made people take notice. His biggest hit to-date “Tsunami” is exactly as its title suggests as the hit single wrecked bars, clubs, festival stages and radio stations around the world, gaining BORGEOUS international acclaim. It reached#1 on iTunes in 15 different countries, #1 on Beatport, received an EMPO Award for ‘Track of the Year’ and was nominated for the Juno Award ‘Best Dance Recording of the Year.’ In 2014, he reached the Top 10 on Billboard’s Dance Radio chart twice with “Invincible” and “Wildfire.” “Invincible” also became the #2 song of 2014 on SiriusXM’s BPM Radio, with “Wildfire” behind at #14. Further–BORGEOUS has already exceeded expectations for 2015 with releases “This Could Be Love,” “They Don’t Know Us,” “Big Bang” (Life in Color’s 2015 anthem), his ever-so-beautiful original “Zero Gravity” with LIGHTS that went #5 on iTunes Dance Charts in Canada and his collab with Wiz Khalifa, Waka Flocka & DJ Whoo Kid “Toast,” just to name a few.
The Dutch legend Dyro is set to take the stage in Cincinnati’s club Mynt and drop some of the hardest hitting electro in the world. The Netherlands native will make his return to Ohio for the second consecutive year. Last year he visited Columbus with his friends Dannic and Hardwell during a stop on the Hardwell’s North American Tour. Dyro has taken some serious strides since last year by launching his own project Wolv Records. Motivated to create a record label that was entirely his own, Dyro wanted to have a platform where he could release some of the massive amounts of incredible music that was finding its way to him. He wanted to be a part of the entire process of building his label to insure that it perfectly represented him and his vision. He has even taken it upon himself to design everything that is involved with the label including the logo and videos.
You can check his most recent radio show here.

Imanos Drops ‘Trapped In Hollywood’ Mix For DJ Mag and Releases Collaborative Remix Of Ciara’s “Overdose”
Canadian native Imanos is finishing out the year, 2013, with a BANG. Over the weekend, The Mad Decent producer credited with the co-production of Diplo’s recently popular single “Revolution” released two exclusive projects. Imanos’ ‘Trapped In Hollywood’ mix for DJ Mag and his “Overdose” remix are two MASSIVE drops, which should keep Imanos on your music radars into 2014 and beyond.
Imanos’s remix with NGHTMRE on this track entitled, “Overdose”, is a progressive-house remix that’s eargasmic. The synth led-production underneath Ciara’s vocals is the perfect catalyst for a thunderous electro-style drop that provides an upbeat rhythm with an enormous BASS. His trapped in Holywood mix premiered this weekend on DJ Mag and it is absolutely RAW. Imanos showcases his unique style of mixing a variety of music from trap, vocal, and electro music. In this one hour mix, Imanos features remixes to popular tracks such as Avicii’s “Wake Me Up”, Lana Del Rey’s “Young & Beautiful” and Martin Garrix’s “Animals”. Take a listen and download, Imanos’ “Overdose” remix and ‘Trapped In Hollywood” mix, below both are now available for FREE.
Cazzette‘s song “Run For Cover” is their newest song and also a cut off their 2014 album Eject. This song is heavy because Cazzette layed down a filthy mix of dubstep builds and electro breakdowns. With the inclusion of the sparingly used sample “Run For Cover” this original mix is the new big song from the Swedish based duo, who are also signed to Avicii‘s PRMD label. If just this song wasn’t enough for you be sure to check back on December 2nd when Cazzette will be premiering “Run For Cover’s” music video! Take a listen to the stream of the brand new song, below.
Take a listen to the newest drop from Coyote Kisses entitled, “Six Shooter”. It is their first release in the recent months, but its dope and also a production you would expect from an original group like Coyote Kisses. “Six Shooter” features a new punk/rock style, not heard on their ThunderColor EP. That was a successful EDM project, which earned them notoriety because of the group’s desire to test music’s limits. It’s not always a bad thing to experiment, though especially when you possess the innate music playing ability and creativeness that Coyote Kisses does. “Six Shooter” will impress even the most hardcore rock fans with its natural rock-n-roll style and will win over passive audiences during pre-games and even live at festivals. This song is just a clip of what’s to come from Coyote Kisses, but check out “Six Shooter” and download it for free by liking them on Facebook.
