Only a few days ago, KSHMR released the full track of “Touch”, which features a collaboration with Felix Snow and vocals from Madi. Those of you who have yet to listen to the Californian producer, you should start to. Also known as Niles Hollowell-Dhar, he started his career with his friend David “Campa” Singer-Vine, the duo was formally known as The Cataracs. The former duo focused their producing on hip-hop and indie pop, which proved successful. KSHMR was created as Niles’ solo alias and has become the EDM sensation known today. His tracks have been topping Beatport charts and setting his name beside other well known producers. In 2015, KSHMR collaborated with Tiesto to create “Secrets” which held high positions on the charts. If you have yet to tune into KSHMR’s new track “Touch”, tune in:

Headliner of the 14th installment of #Fest Fetty Wap has basically blown the air waves of every radio station and speakers out of all the clubs with arguably the most ubiquitous song of 2015 “Trap Queen”. He’s got that soda… but he’s also got an entire debut album full of hits. Here are some you may not have heard (or completely overplayed and ruined for yourself) yet.
#1. Trap Luv
A natural transition from loving his trap queen to loving the trap life in general. The simple yet effective bass chord progressions give “Trap Luv” an “Oh I’ve heard this before” sensibility.
#2. I’m Straight
Another smooth sampling of trap synth in “I’m Straight”, his flow is quicker than on other tracks but still provides that lack of annunciation we all know and love of the rapper.
#3. Let It Bang
Another catchy, melodic track off his debut album,”Let It Bang” doesn’t stray from the Fetty Wap appeal- that constant presence of the 808 bass and repetitive crooning with synthetic flair. His music is reliable and rolling without trying too hard.
The rapper just released a new single which is a significant departure from any of these tracks, though he did re-enlist the Remy Boyz (also on his chart-topping track “679”). Entitled “Handgun”, give this new track a listen below.
Fetty Wap’s self-titled, debut studio album hit the shelves in September and momentum for the 17 tracks has yet to let up. The album, which includes three extra tracks if you cough up the extra cash for the deluxe edition, is out via 300 Entertainment/RGF Productions.
A day after the release of this album, Fetty Wap was injured while riding a motorcycle in his hometown of Patterson, New Jersey. A witness has said Fetty was trying to pass a vehicle in front of him and apparently didn’t see an oncoming car which hit him head on. Fetty is expected to make a full recovery after he spent a couple days in the hospital. Stream his entire debut album here.
